Yellow
Raincoat
Macro Leung Ling-Kit, 35, plunged 17 meters to his death from a building. Wearing a yellow raincoat with the words "Brutal police are cold-blooded" and "Carrie Lam is killing Hong Kong"
The Yellow Raincoat has then become a symbol of Marco Leung and the protest.
Hand and Foot

Hand and Foot (手足), the figurative synonym of brothers, also refers to fellow Hong Kong protestors. The photo shows the “hand and foot” who is still attending high school.

Weapon = Water Bottle
A protestor throws water bottle at police. Water bottle can be deemed as a weapon while the police force abuse rubber bullets, pepper sprays, batons and tear gas.

Protester
A protester throws a tear gas canister back to the police. Tear gas has been used in dense residential areas and even in enclosed subway station. International standards state that it should be used only in open area with clear exit point.
Umbrellas, the key symbol of Umbrella Revolution in 2014, were used once again to shield protestors from rubber bullets and pepper spray.
The way the umbrella was used brought an enormous feeling of brotherhood.

Weapon = Laser Pen
Laser pointers were used by Hong Kong protestors as a mean to distract police. The Hong Kong court has criminalised the possession of a laser pointer in the context of offensive weapons.

Siege of Polytechnic

Siege of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University occurred on 17 - 29 November 2019. Protestors were trapped in the University while police siege with water cannons water containing blue colouring and chemical irritants, tear gas and rubber bullet round.

8.31 Prince Station
On 31 August 2019, Hong Kong police stormed Prince Edward station and attacked civilians indiscriminately in the station without making arrests.
A mourning vigil was set up by Hongkongers for the protestors that were believed being beaten to death in the incident.
The station remained closed for more than two months. The CCTV footage has not been disclosed. The records provided by police has been changed multiple times.

Free Hong Kong
Traffic lights project another slogan “Free Hong Kong”, which state the wish “Hong Kong to become a Hong Kong for Hongkongers”
Hong Kong Protestors use umbrella to shield themselves against water cannons.
The water with chemical irritants will cause discomfort and pain when comes in contact with skin, and you would not want the water to reach your eye.

Two Millions Warriors

The protest on 16th June 2019. The rally lasted for almost 8 hours (14:40 - 23:00).
The organsier Civil Human Rights Front estimated that there were 2 million and 1 people joined the protest. With the one person refers to Macro Leung Ling-Kit who committed suicide on the day before the protest.

“Liberate Hong Kong, Revolution of Our Times”, the now banned slogan was first used by Edward Leung as his campaign theme during the 2016 by-election. It was widely used in Hongkonger’s battle for freedom since 2019.
